That's not the use case in question. It should be in some cases; that's why Apple went with the copper 10 GbE variant of Lightpeak, I mean thunderbolt; instead of the fibre one at GbE. This is just a follow-up but not to "a Siracusian degree" on my original question. The difference is obviously the thunderbolt connection and the other in- and outputs on the back of the screen and the camera HD on the new display. The display looks really good. Funny how the different aspect ratio from the old 24" display makes the 27" about as tall as the 24". That makes them work pretty well together.
